             The role of education for the betterment of the society cannot be neglected. In order for the school to function effectively for the student’s welfare, it is important for both teachers and parents come together. This is well achieved by the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) in the school. The importance of the PTA cannot be given a deaf ear. Bolaoen Elementary School understands this aspect and offers Parent Teacher Association.

                For a school to function better, it is important for teachers and parents to work together. A parent surely wants to know everything is going on well in the school, including the teachers and school management. The same goes for the teachers too, in which they want to know the social background, interests and so on of the students. All this actually works to the benefit of students. Knowing more about a student helps teachers to cater to their needs accordingly. The PTA in Bolaoen Elementary School works towards creating a friendly and amiable atmosphere for the students.

                There are innumerable benefits associated with the PTA of Bolaoen Elementary School. One of the greatest benefits associated is that it helps teachers to understand students from the parent’s perspective and vice versa. It helps parents to know all about the functioning of the school, problems and so on. It works towards making the school better and the best place to get a quality education. In this, it is the teachers and the parents that sit together and discuss various issues regarding school and even a particular student. The overall aim of the PTA meeting is to ensure the school offers the best learning experience for the students keeping in mind their needs.

                Meetings of PTA are held two weeks after the class opening and every after grading period or card day. The first meeting agenda is to elect new sets of officers for the present school year and the rest of the meetings' concern are all about the students’ performance in school and how to work together in making the school a place of quality education. Every grade level of PTA officers and members worked hand and hand to come up with the different school projects for school and classroom improvement. 

                The importance of PTA in the school is undeniable. Their contribution in any manner helps the school become a better place for everyone.
